Lasallian Youth Ministry shared the Good News with families in the Brik Kilns
Lasallian Youth Pakistan organised a donation drive to collect essentials for those in need during Holy Week. The main purpose of the donation drive was to donate and create food hampers to provide food and grocery essentials for families working and living near the brick kilns. The hampers contained enough food and ingredients to cook meals for a week.
We are thankful to the Lasallian Foundation for their contribution to our Easter outreach program. The contribution sent by the Lasallian Foundation helped us reach more families than we originally thought was possible with the donations we had.
- 35 Food hampers were also distributed to domestic staff at La Salle High School Faisalabad.
- 65 Food hampers were distributed to families who work at the brick kiln in the Samundri area.
- 100 packets of snacks were also shared with the children
The families and children were pleased the Youth Ministers arrived with parcels of food and hampers, mostly the children appreciated their treats and snacks! The Youth Ministers conducted themselves with maturity and experienced the message of the institute to reach the peripheries. They should be proud of the their efforts and commitment towards this project.
