James Sheahan Catholic High School, Orange

James Sheahan Catholic High School is a diocesan co-educational secondary school located in the city of Orange in central-west New South Wales. The College was founded in 1980 as the result of the amalgamation of De La Salle College (boys) and Stella Maris College (girls). The high school has about 1050 students in Years 7-12.

The fundraising activities by students at James Sheahan contributed $10,000 to the Lasallian Foundation in 2020 for projects at La Salle Girls’ High School in Sant Singh Wala near Faisalabad, and a further $10,000 has been contributed in 2021 towards a water and sanitation project at the same school. The Lasallian Foundation would like to sincerely thank the community of James Sheahan for donating so generously to the Mission which aims to improve education for the impoverished children in Pakistan.
