In late 2020, the Lasallian Foundation received a request for funding from La Salle Technical College for new shelving and furnishings for the re-vamped Resource Centre and for class sets of textbooks to be used by Grade 9 students as the College began implementing the National Curriculum in 2021.
The total funding required for the project was $14,000 for the Resource Centre furnishings and $19,000 for the class sets of text books. Through the initiative of Brother Robert Schieler, Superior General, and facilitated by the Lasallian Secretariat for Solidarity and Development, funding for the project was received from the Irish Brothers’ Foundation. The project was completed in March 2021.
